Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer virtual or in-person coaching?

Coaching sessions are offered virtually, making it easy to meet from the comfort of your own home.

How long is health coaching?

It depends on the type of support you choose. Foundational Wellness Coaching is offered as a 3-month program, while Integrative Health Coaching may extend longer depending on your goals, testing, and level of support needed.

What happens during a coaching session?

Our sessions are centered around you. We’ll talk about where you are now, where you want to be, what may be getting in the way, and realistic steps you can take to move forward. Coaching is collaborative. I’m here to guide, support, educate, and help you create changes that work in your real life.

Do I need to have a specific health concern to work with you?

Not at all. You may simply want more energy, healthier habits, better consistency, improved nutrition, more movement, less stress, or support creating a healthier lifestyle. You can also work with me if you’re experiencing ongoing symptoms and want to explore your health more deeply.

What health concerns do you work with?

I work with clients who want to better understand and support different areas of their health and wellness. Some common areas we may explore include:

  • Gut and digestive health

  • Stress and nervous system support

  • Hormone balance

  • Autoimmune

  • Mineral imbalances

  • Vitamin and nutrient status

  • Heavy metal exposure

  • Mold and environmental concerns

  • Energy and metabolism

  • Sleep and recovery

  • Overall wellness and healthy aging

Depending on your needs, we may use your health history, lifestyle, symptoms, and functional wellness testing to help identify patterns and areas that may need additional support.

My role is not to diagnose or treat disease, but to help you better understand your body, support your overall wellness, and create a personalized plan for moving forward.

What are some common symptoms people come to you with?

Many people I work with know they don’t feel their best, but aren’t quite sure why. Common concerns may include:

  • Low energy or ongoing fatigue

  • Bloating, gas, or digestive discomfort

  • Trouble sleeping or waking throughout the night

  • Feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or “wired but tired”

  • Hormonal changes or cycle-related concerns

  • Brain fog or difficulty concentrating

  • Mood changes or irritability

  • Difficulty managing weight despite healthy habits

  • Food sensitivities or feeling like certain foods don’t agree with them

  • Hair, skin, or nail changes

  • Feeling like something is “off,” even when routine testing looks normal

You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out. Sometimes simply knowing that you want to feel better is a good place to start.

What is the difference between wellness coaching and integrative health coaching?

Wellness coaching focuses on behavior change, goal setting, accountability, and creating sustainable habits around areas such as nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, and overall wellness.

Integrative health coaching takes a deeper look at your individual health picture and may include functional lab testing, education, and personalized wellness recommendations.

Do you offer functional lab testing?

Yes. I offer several at-home functional wellness tests that can provide additional insight into areas such as minerals and heavy metals, gut health, stress and hormones, metabolism, nutritional markers, and more. Testing is optional and depends on your individual needs and goals.

Do I have to purchase a coaching package to order labs?

No. There are options for individuals who would like testing, a lab review, and recommendations without committing to ongoing coaching. Ongoing support is also available if you decide you’d like help implementing your plan.

Is health coaching a replacement for my doctor?

No. Health and wellness coaching and integrative health services are complementary to medical care and are not a replacement for diagnosis, treatment, or care from your licensed healthcare provider.

What if I know I need to make changes but don't know where to start?

That’s exactly where coaching can help. You don’t need to have a perfect plan before you begin. We can start with where you are today, identify what matters most to you, and create manageable steps toward where you want to be.

How is your coaching different?

My approach is centered around you as a whole person, not just a symptom or a number on a lab report. I use a bio-individual approach, meaning there is no one-size-fits-all plan for health and wellness.

We look at the bigger picture, including your nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, environment, habits, health history, current concerns, and personal goals. When appropriate, functional wellness testing can provide another layer of information to help us better understand your individual needs.

Most importantly, coaching is something we do together. Rather than simply telling you what to do, I help you understand your health, identify what may be standing in the way of change, and create realistic steps that fit your life.

Your body, your life, and your goals are unique. Your approach to wellness should be too.
